I believe Jim is recommending you go with a 13in rim/slick combo(Bogarts/Welds,etc).

Smitty, I would suggest that you come by the shop and TRY one of my Bogarts with the 24.5" Slicks on... but unfortunately, my wheels do not have enough lug-nut holes drilled in them for you.

If in the worst case, the wheels do not clear your huge brakes... what would be wrong with installing GSR rotors/calipers on your car ???

if you have ever driven a type r and tried the brakes,you will know why.only an idiot would take them off!i have a friend with a set of 26's,and i might get him to let me try them.same lug pattern too.plus,26x10's would be mega traction(traction is a very big problem now.beside's i can't send back my te37's now.

No doubt your current braking system is many times better than that of a GSR... however, sometimes when one wants to go REALLY FAST, some sacrifices in streetability have to be made. Obviously, having the best of BOTH worlds is the path that we all seek... only sometimes you can't get there from here !!!
